I do like that there are plenty of advanced settings to mess with and you can really tweak things the way you want, but it gets a little confusing sometimes and I found myself clicking around trying to figure out what everything did before I felt comfortable

I've been using UniFi gear at home, and the security options are solid. The VLANs, alerts, and camera settings all work well once you've figured out where everything is. It did take me a bit to get it all set up the way I wanted, so I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

I had a setup issue and support did eventually get it fixed, which I really appreciated. That said, it took longer than I expected, so I was a bit frustrated waiting. Overall, I’m glad it got resolved, but I wish the process had been a little quicker.

Just a heads up if you’re ordering from ui.com: don’t expect it to show up quickly. I ordered a switch and the tracking basically sat there with no updates for days, then it arrived later than expected with no real notice. The product itself is totally fine, but the shipping process was frustrating enough that I’d plan ahead or look elsewhere if you need it soon.

I wasn’t totally sure what to do at first, but the community jumped in and helped me out fast. Really appreciated how quick people were to respond.

Its been frustrating. The connection gets slow and laggy, and it keeps dropping throughout the day, but nights are the worst. I cant really stream or get anything done without it cutting out.

I’ve had a good experience overall because the products themselves are solid and the site is easy enough to use. That said, it’s kind of annoying how often the things I’m looking for are out of stock. Restocks don’t seem super predictable either, so I end up checking back randomly and hoping for the best. I’d definitely shop here more if availability was a bit more reliable...

I bought a switch from Ubiquiti and ended up having to return it because it wasn’t the right fit for my setup. Filling out the return form was simple enough, but after that things got slow and a little confusing.
I had to wait a few days for replies, and it wasn’t very clear where my refund stood during the process. I did get my money back in the end, but it definitely took more effort than it should’ve.

I bought this from ui.com thinking, okay, the higher price probably means better quality... but yeah, I don't really feel that way after using it. Setup was fine, I guess, not terrible or anything, but it wasn't exactly impressive either. And support didn't really help change my mind. For the amount I paid, I just expected a lot more. I wouldn’t buy it again

I mostly use Ubiquiti to manage our UniFi gear in the cloud, and when it’s working well, it’s definitely convenient. It saves me from having to drive out to a site just to make a quick change or check on something small.
That said, it’s not always the smoothest experience. Sometimes the dashboard feels slow, or devices show as offline when they’re actually fine. A few settings are kinda tucked away too, and updates can be a little hit or miss. It’s not bad overall, but I’d say it still needs some polish for everyday use.

I picked this up after seeing a few people recommend it, and overall I’m happy with it. The video is clear during the day and still looks good at night, and the colors are decent too. The app playback does lag here and there, which I noticed other people mentioned as well, but for watching over my house it’s been reliable

I’ve been using UniFi at home for a bit now, and it’s just nice having the cameras, Wi-Fi, and gateway all under one roof. The setup wasn’t totally smooth, had a couple moments where I had to stop and figure out what it was doing, but once it was up and running, it’s been easy to deal with. The app is straightforward, which I appreciate, because I really didn’t want another thing where I’m bouncing between three different systems just to check what’s going on. It kind of fades into the background now, which is exactly what I wanted

My first impression was rough. I opened a ticket about my order thinking I’d get a quick, helpful reply, but I ended up waiting days without any real answer.

When they finally got back to me, it felt like a generic copy-paste response and didn’t actually fix anything. I had to follow up again, and the replies were still slow. The products may be okay, but the support really made it feel like no one was actually reading my messages.

The UI gear itself is fine, no real complaints there. But the docs… yeah, they were frustrating. Some pages felt outdated, and a few things I needed either seemed missing or were just hard to find. I ended up digging through forums just to set up basic stuff, which wasn’t ideal. I expected the official help to be a lot clearer

I’ve been running ui gear at home for a few months now, and at least in my setup, the firmware updates have been surprisingly smooth. I can’t say I’ve tested every feature or anything, but I haven’t had random reboots or settings getting messed up so far. that’s mostly what I was hoping for

The app is okay for the most part, but it definitely feels buggy sometimes. It lags more than I expected, and notifications don’t always come through, which is frustrating. They made it sound like everything would be smooth and reliable, but that hasn’t really been my experience.

I’ve been using ui.com stuff at home for a little over a year now, and it’s been really solid. My router and access points almost never need messing with, and I haven’t had those random drops I used to get with my old setup. Updates have been smooth too, nothing has broken on me so far. It’s defintely not the cheapest option, but I like that I can set it up and mostly forget about it day to day

Not gonna lie, the WiFi has been really good around the whole house, and it even reaches out to the backyard without any issues.

i’ve been having a rough time with the poe on this. it cuts out way more often than it should, and it’s been a real pain to deal with.
